The Zebra Midge was first tied by Ted Welling in Lees Ferry, on the Colorado river somewhere around 1996. It was meant to imitate a midge pupa and eventually became a go-to fly for fly anglers accross america. This one has a red body cause i was going to tie it with black thread, but the black didnt look right and i wanted to be creative, so i made it with red thread instead.
