The Adams fly was first tied by Leonard Halladay in Mayfield, Michigan in 1922. It was made to imitate mayflies that had hatched on Michigan`s Boardman river and the fly was named after Leonard`s good friend, Charles Adams and became on of the most popular flies in Oregon.

Purple Haze

The Purple Haze was first tied by Andy Carlson in the early 2000s. It was created while Andy was fishing the Bitterroot river, Montana, and desighned this fly with purple thread to be more visible, but trout crushed it. (fun fact: I caught my first fish on a dry fly with this pattern!)
